UL 2239:2022 PDF Download

The UL 2239:2022 standard specifies requirements for hardware used in the support of conduit, tubing, and cable installations. It includes devices such as hangers, staples, straps, standoff supports for nonmetallic-sheathed cable, protector plates, and protector bushings. These devices are intended to be used in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), Part I.

However, it is important to note that the standard excludes certain types of hardware. It does not cover hardware for surface raceway, wireway, or busway systems, sprinkler systems, and other fire protection piping systems, hardware for lighting fixtures, or hardware for grounding and bonding applications. Additionally, the standard does not include hardware intended for supporting boxes, conduit and cable fittings, reducing washers, pulling grips for cable or cord, cable ties, or positioning devices.
