UL 1951:2020 PDF Download

The UL 1951:2020 standard provides requirements for equipment that is connected to or used with plumbing in commercial or household locations. This includes various equipment such as irrigation equipment, sprinkler controls, pedicure spas, water controls in kitchens and bathrooms, electric faucets, toilets, and toilet flushing systems. All of the equipment covered by this standard is intended for installation and use in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and is rated for 600 volts or less.

It is important to note that this standard does not cover pumps, dishwashers, washing machines, or any other equipment that is connected to plumbing and has its own individual requirements. Furthermore, it does not cover refrigeration systems or controls that regulate water temperature. Additionally, equipment for use in hazardous locations as defined in the National Electrical Code is not within the scope of this standard.
