Type I reflector kits involve tasks related to reflector installation and replacement, while Type II kits encompass additional tasks such as lampholder relocation, removal, or replacement; ballast relocation, removal, or replacement; and wire relocation, removal, replacement, or addition.

Any product that deviates from the requirements specified in this standard and introduces new features, components, materials, or systems that pose a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury must undergo evaluation using appropriate additional component and end-product requirements. Conflict with the specific provisions of this standard renders a product non-compliant.
