UL 1660:2019 PDF Download

The UL 1660:2019 standard provides requirements for liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduits of various types and sizes. The standard covers conduit sizes ranging from 3/8" to 4" and includes Type LFNC-A (Layered), Type LFNC-B (Integral), and Type LFNC-C (Corrugated) constructions.

The conduit is designed for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), the CE Code, Part 1, and the Mexican Electrical Code, NOM-001-SEDE. It can be used in wet, dry, or oily locations, with a maximum operating temperature of 60°C (140°F), unless otherwise marked.

Additionally, the standard mentions that fittings for liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit are covered in UL 514B, CSA C22.2 No. 18.3, or NMX-J-017-ANCE. This means that the standard also addresses the compatibility and performance requirements for fittings used in conjunction with the conduit.
