The EIA 960-B-2017 standard provides specifications and requirements for the use of Assembly Component Trays (ACTs) in automated assembly processes. The standard specifically addresses two sizes of ACTs: standard size and "J" size.
The standard size ACTs are designed to accommodate tray slots with dimensions of 298.45mm x 254mm (11.75inches x 10 inches). On the other hand, the "J" size ACTs are designed for tray slots with dimensions of 322.58mm x 135.89mm (12.7 inches x 5.35 inches).
